The product description quotes "Insertable/Usable Length 6.10 (in), Circumference 8.80 (in)".
"The Challenge", thought I, "hardly the largest thing around but nevertheless pretty big."
Challenge doesn't even begin to describe it.
The toy I received is most certainly not 8.8" in circumference (2.8" diameter) at any pertinent point. The narrower portion between base and its widest point measures 9.5" in circumference, already blowing the description out of the water. The widest point? I found it to be 15" in circumference, just shy of 5" in diameter. I'm actually struggling to think of an apt comparison, maybe one of those giant beer mugs they use for Oktoberfest.
Not sure I'd really consider this "perfect for beginners".
Other than that, what's there to say? Its construction is of a PVC shell over what seems to be a rubber filling. The shell is flexible and the core doesn't fill it perfectly, with a bit of a gap between. I don't forsee this causing any problems mind you, and the the shell is fully sealed to the core along the base. Being PVC it has that plastic smell to it.
