How dress codes
actually work
Let's kill the biggest myth first: nobody is expecting you to arrive on night one in two grand of bespoke leather. Fetish wear can be very expensive - but one of the most wonderful things about the 'scene' is that it's so multi-faceted - and there's some outfits that cost £15 and some that cost £1,500. Fetish Week London runs on a spectrum - some nights are strict gear, some are gear encouraged, and some you can stroll into exactly as you are. Knowing which is which, is half the outfit sorted.
A few golden rules from someone who's dressed (and re-dressed) hundreds of first-timers: gear means fetishwear - leather, rubber, sportswear, pup, skin, neoprene and beyond. You can travel in your 'normal' clothing and change on arrival - or you can layer up over your look. I mean, the tube has seen worse, but your harness hasn't earned a Northern line audience yet. And FWL has never been more welcoming: daily Sober Meet-Ups run Wednesday to Saturday, and Full Fetish now has a quieter retreat space for neurodivergent kinksters. Everyone's in.

Gear is the ticket. Turn up in jeans and a nice top and you'll be admiring the queue from the wrong side of it.

Dress code: Sportswear · Be strict with your gearLocker room fantasy. This is the sweatiest, most accessible, and most affordable code of the week. If you've ever lingered too long in a changing room, you probably already understand the assignment. And the scent. Wink wink.
The dress code, decoded: sportswear only, but the definition is generous - football kits, rugby shirts, trackies, lycra, singlets, shorts, and trainers all count. Second Skin
Full lycra, a wrestling singlet, or head-to-toe compression - sportswear at its most sculptural. Finish with a Sport Fucker or Oxballs cockring under it all. Think of it as a wonderbra for your dick - you'll thank us by midnight.

Sportswear is the most forgiving dress code of Fetish Week but the least forgiving on laundry. These nights can get very sweaty, so pack a spare tee in your cloakroom bag. The future you, peeling off a soaked kit at 3am, will be grateful.

Rubber Gear
Dress code: Strict rubberThe shiniest night of the week. Rubber Gear is an FWL staple with a strict dress code - so lube up, slide in, and join the gleam team. There is genuinely nothing like a room full of latex under warehouse lights. It's aesthetically pleasing on a whole new glossy level.
The code, decoded: rubber means RUBBER - latex shorts, tees, vests, jeans, catsuits, wrestling singlets, chaps, and beyond. Strict means strict: this is the one night where "I'll wear something rubber-adjacent" unfortunately won't fly. The good news? Gateway Rubber
Latex shorts and a vest or tee - either simple or with a slogan/colour - the classic starter combo. Fully on code, easy to get into, easy to dance in, and a brilliant way to find out whether rubber is your thing (spoiler: it usually is).

The Classic
Latex jeans and shirt, a singlet, or a simple black catsuit, polished to a mirror finish. Timeless, sharp, and endlessly remixable with colour trims and accessories. A coat of Vivishine is what separates "wearing latex" from "wearing latex properly".

Leather trousers or chaps, harness, armband, cap - the full 'Tom of Finland' silhouette. This is heritage dressing: a look with fifty years PLUS of history that still stops traffic. It's iconic - and I don't say that lightly. Build it piece by piece over time; it only gets better. It's an investment.

Total Transformation
A total persona. A GRRReat example would be becoming a full PUP - neoprene hood, tail, knee pads and attitude - or a rubber-leather hybrid topped with a hood. Full Fetish has its own puppy space, so the pack will be out in force. Become somebody (or somepup) else entirely for the night.

Do I have to wear gear to Fetish Week London?
Depends on the night. Rubber Gear and Full Fetish are strict gear events, and the Sports Cruise is strictly sportswear. The socials - the Members' Party, Fetish Cabaret, Masterclass and Sunday Social - encourage gear but welcome eveningwear/smart-casual and alt. The Gear Market and Film Screening have no dress code at all.
What if I don't own any gear yet?
Start with one versatile piece - a leather harness is the classic first buy and works across most of the week. Use code FWL26 for 20% off online and in-store at Clonezone, or come to the Gear Market at Electrowerkz (Wed 8 - Sat 11 July, no ticket needed) and try things on with our expert team.
Can I shop the Clonezone Gear Market without an event ticket?
Yes - during the daytime hours you don't need a Fetish Week event ticket at all. The Gear Market inside Electrowerkz is open to everyone 18+, so just hop off the tube at Angel and come find us. Opening hours are:
Wednesday 8 July: 4pm–12am
Thursday 9 July: 4–8pm (no ticket needed) & 10pm–1am (ticket holders only)
Friday 10 July: 4–8pm (no ticket needed) & 10pm–1am (ticket holders only)
Saturday 11 July: 2pm–7pm
One thing to know: the late-night openings (10pm–1am on Thursday and Friday) run inside the ticketed Fetish Week parties, so you'll need an event ticket to shop those. The daytime hours are open to everyone - ticket or not - so pop in, browse, and grab anything you forgot.
What should I wear travelling to the venue?
Most people travel in regular clothing, and some come in full gear - where it's safe and comfortable to do so. If you wish, change on arrival, or layer normal clothes over your gear for the journey. Pack your look in a bag, use the cloakroom, and save the full reveal for inside.
Where can I get fitted for gear in person?
Clonezone Soho (35 Old Compton Street) all week, with the KINK3D team in-store on Friday 3 July for chastity sizing. At the Gear Market, KINK3D are sizing across the market days and Invincible Rubber are on hand for off-the-rack and made-to-measure latex. No appointments are needed for both.
